Jess Elizabeth Makeup would like you to please read our terms and conditions before booking your service.
Making a booking with us signifies that you agree to our terms and conditions.
Makeup Applications include complimentary temporary false lashes. The artist supplies all professional makeup and hairstyling products unless prior arrangement has been reached. Coverage of tattoos, scars and other areas will attract a further charge. Prior consultation and arrangement must be made for these prior to the day, as on the day, time may not allow. Changes to your hairstyling may attract an additional fee, Hairstyling includes any products required including pins, bobby pins, fringe pins, hair padding and finishing products, with the exception of hair extensions.
Should you require blow-drying due to wet hair on the day of your service, an additional fee of $30 will be charged. Wet hair may affect the overall styling of the hair and must be dried prior to styling, timing may also be affected. Extra-long hair, below bra strap may attract an additional fee of $30. Should your desired style require hair extensions, additional charge of $50 will apply for styling and application of extensions. Hair extensions must be supplied by the client and must be clean and in good order. Your stylist is not responsible for damage caused to your hair or hair extensions due to the styling of sub-standard or synthetic extensions. The makeup artist's or stylist's products, tools, appliances, brushes, sponges, makeup, and consumables are not to be touched unless instructed by the artist. All items are kept in excellent condition and safe hygiene practices are of the utmost importance, for this reason neither you, your booking party nor anyone's children are to touch or handle any of the artist's kit items, including brushes. Any damage or breakages caused must be paid for and you will be sent cost of replacement information for items should anything untoward occur.
You must advise the makeup artist or stylist of possible allergies or skin sensitivities to certain products or their ingredients. No liability is accepted by the artist arising from allergic reactions or personal injury arising from consenting the use of the products offered in my kit.
Failure to advise of allergies or skin sensitivities to certain products or ingredients may result in refusal of service. Failure to advise of infections or conditions that could put other clients at risk may result in legal action and or recovery of costs to replace kits items affected. Service may be refused should you fail to advise of conditions for you or your booking party such as, but not limited to conjunctivitis, flu, the common cold, school sores (scabies), cold sores (herpes simplex virus), head lice, eyelash mites, and skin infections, or any other contagious/infectious conditions.
No refunds will be offered in these instances. For health and safety reasons the artist requires a cigarette smoke, vape and illicit substance free environment in which to work. The artist reserves the right to stop work if they believe the client is inebriated or otherwise under the influence both for the artist and client's safety. The artist reserves the right to cancel your agreement at any time for any reason and retain your payment and all expenses, if it is due to clients' and/or client representative's behaviour, actions or inactions. full payment will still be required.
This includes the day of your event. Aggressive, abusive, rude, discriminatory and/or obnoxious behaviour will not be tolerated towards Jess Elizabeth Makeup and team.
To book any Services you must submit a Booking Enquiry via Website or Instagram. All bookings will be made directly with the Artist. (Jess)
When confirming your booking request we will disclose the information you provide to Jess Elizabeth Makeup and will prepare a quote for the total amount owing including any additional costs. Once confirmed by customer, the relevant information to make a payment to secure your booking will be sent via the platform of enquiry. All enquiries and communication regarding your booking and fees must be done directly through Jess Elizabeth Makeup platforms. Any changes the artist chooses to make on the day will not be binding by us. Valet parking is mandatory if available at accomodation as the artists have heavy makeup/hair kits and lighting. This expense will be billed directly to you room as part of the Parking Expense agreement. COVID-19 VACCINE UPDATE- Due to government policy, we will only be able to service clients who are vaccinated.
Please note, as part of our booking conditions, you may be required to provide proof of your vaccination status. If you need to cancel due to COVID related reasons, a credit note will be created on your behalf to use on future services.
DEPOSIT PAYMENTS- Deposit payment for any service with Jess Elizabeth Makeup is non-refundable or transferable and is required when any makeup booking is requested for it to be confirmed and secured. The deposit amount may vary depending on size of booking. Without payment made, we cannot promise that your requested date or time will remain available. All remaining monies (excluding deposit) must be paid in full on day of service. Cash or PAYID/Transfer.
TRIALS-For an additional Fee, you may request a Trial appointment with the Artist to discuss and try the desired look before your big day. If you would like a trial, you will need a deposit to secure your booking with the artist. Balance payment is made directly to the artist on the day via Cash or PAYID./Transfer.
TRAVEL CHARGES- Being a MOBILE ARTIST means there is no limit to an amount of people require data for Jess Elizabeth Makeup to travel. Toll charges & Parking fees may also apply. If valet parking is available, this will be charged to you in accordance to this agreement.
Jess Elizabeth Makeup has the right to change any price at any time without notice to the customer, unless the customer has placed an order at a stipulated price (then the alteration in price is not applicable). When booking any service with Jess Elizabeth Makeup the customer agrees to these prices. Please Note: Only one gift voucher can be valid per service booked!
YOU ARE ALSO PAYING PER PERSON NOT PER HOUR. Once Jess has completed all makeup applications (based that everyone is on time) she will be moving to her next booking. If you would like her to wait, the fee is $30.00 per half an hour.
INTERPRETATION
AGREEMENT between Jess Elizabeth Makeup. and "Customer'
"Accommodation Expenses" means accommodation costs incurred by an Artist due to a long commute and an early start time.
"Additional Costs" means any costs required, but not limited to Travel Expenses, Early Fees, Parking Expenses and Accommodation Expenses.
"Artist" means a makeup artist and/or hair stylist
"Booking" means a booking for an Artist to provide you with particular Services secured by payment of a deposit.
"Customer" means the person or legal entity listed on the purchase and includes anyone acting on their behalf.
"Deposit" means a non-refundable, non-transferable payment reflecting a percentage of the total
Service Quote amount for a Booking
"Early Fee or late fee" due to an early or late appointment time.
"Final Booking Details" means all details relevant to your Booking including the destination, date and time.
"Parking Expenses" means costs for the Artist parking at the destination.
"Travel Expenses" means costs associated with an Artist travelling to Booking. •
PAYMENT OPTIONS WITH JESS ELIZABETH MAKEUP
Jess Elizabeth Makeup accepts Cash, PAYID and transfer. All prices are in Australian Dollars. Invoices can be sent to your desired email address once booking is confirmed and can be paid online. After a booking is secured and deposit is paid, any requests to alter your booking requires notice. We will do our best to make these changes for you however it is subject to the artists availability and scope of work on that day. We will make effort to accomodate as best we can. Please Note: The artist is not obligated to service beyond agreement when booking is made , including timings on the day. By securing a booking you acknowledge this. We allocate estimated timings Per person on behalf of the artist which is outlined when bookings are made.
CANCELLATIONS- Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable (unless impacted by COVID19).
If related to COVID, a. credit note will be created on your behalf to use for future bookings &/or services.
If you fail to attend or be available for a Booking you have secured with a deposit you are not entitled to a refund and forfeit all monies paid by you in respect of the Fees which is 50% of the remaining amount (including the Deposit). As soon as you make a deposit your spot is secured. Therefore a cancellation fee will apply after 24 hours of booking. You may also cancel your appointment and not pay the cancellation fee as long as its within 24 hours of the deposit being made or if there is 3+ months notice only. In the unlikely event that the artist cancels, which are not within our artists reasonable control, we will get in contact with you as soon as possible and try find a similar artist (in experience and style) to you along with any relevant notes/photos (if a trial has been done). If no artist i recommend is available and we are unable to fulfil your booking, a full refund will apply. Jess Elizabeth Makeup is a freelance business and hours vary week to week depending on bookings.
A surcharge of $70. will incur if booking is earlier than 7am or later than 7:00pm on any day.
Christmas Day - CLOSED & New Years Day - CLOSED
Jess Elizabeth Makeup will inform you via Instagram or Facebook if makeup services are unavailable for any other days or times.
Please Note: These Public Holidays can be booked if required however a surcharge of $70.00 will incur.
INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT FROM CUSTOMERS
In order to provide better service to our valued customers, Jess Elizabeth Makeup may request personal details such as your name, address, phone number or e-mail address. If you choose to withhold requested personal information, Jess Elizabeth Makeup may not be able to provide you with the customer service you require should that depend on the collection of that information. Jess Elizabeth Makeup will not sell or disclose the Customers personal information/details to any third party without the customers consent unless in the purpose of purchase/deposit/delivery or if necessary to comply with laws, investigations or legal proceedings. For transaction security Jess Elizabeth Makeup uses PAY ID and Bank Transfer.
PROPERTY- All content made available to the customer via Jess Elizabeth Makeup is property of Jess Elizabeth Makeup. The customer can view, download, copy and/or print the images accessible on Jess Elizabeth Makeup platforms for personal use only and may NOT be altered in anyway.
The customer is not permitted to alter or re-produce the images on Jess Elizabeth Makeup platforms in any manner without permission.
The customer may NOT remove any trademarks made by Jess Elizabeth Makeup on any images, campaigns or marketing materials.
All dealings between Jess Elizabeth Makeup and any person relating to any services supplied by Jess Elizabeth Makeup to the Customer through website, instagram, facebook or Text are subject to the terms and conditions of trade set out below. By using any platform of Jess Elizabeth Makeup to communicate to the artist, the Customer agrees to be bound by these Terms. Jess Elizabeth Makeup has the right to remove or vary these Terms at any time without notice. It is the Customer's responsibility to be aware of any changes made to these Terms.
By continuing to use and visit the platforms associated with Jess Elizabeth Makeup the Customer agrees to be governed by these Terms and Conditions. Jess Elizabeth Makeup reserves the right to withdraw any Services without notice and will NOT be liable (if for any reason) any of our platforms are unavailable during any period. Please Note: Jess Elizabeth Makeup may restrict access to our platforms without notice at any time.
Any Booking Enquiry made by you using our platforms is an acknowledgement by you that you are over the age of eighteen (18) years, or have obtained the permission from a parent or guardian.
